Ok, I decided to post this in the Take a Break section because what I am asking will be somewhat time consuming. I understand if no one is willing or able to help out. My 7 year old daughter is entering a pageant this coming Sunday and I have raised enough money to enter her into a few optionals, including a Portfolio and a Photogenic competition. A friend and I took TONS of pictures this past weekend and out of probably close to 200(don't you just love the digital age) we have narrowed it down to 57. However, the suggested amount for the portfolio is 10 pictures and the photogenic is only 1. I have sent out a request for help to some friends and family members, but so far they are as bad as me and can't choose just a few. I need some honest opinions from unbiased viewers. Thanks in advance to anyone able to help!!

Oh she is just beautiful. Ok, here's my picks....

6,7,8,15,21,22,28,31,32,55. I love 36 and 37, but the lip gloss seems a little shiny....I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about pageants, though, lol.

46 is my FAVORITE. The absolute picture of joy!
Blessings,
Allie

WOW!!! I never expected such a large response. I really appreciate everyone helping me out. I don't know how to thank you all enough. With all of your choices I think we can narrow it down and if anyone is interested, I will be sure to let everyone know which pictures we decided to go with. As of right now I think 21, 56 and 57 are definates. Thanks again, this group is wonderful.

Charity

* on a side note, I know noone has asked or even commented about pageants themselves, but I wanted to let everyone know... the pageant she is entering is based on talent, confidence and poise, it is not strictly a beauty contest. In order for her to attend the State level pageant she is required to do a set amount of community service. The higher age girls compete for scholarships, not just titles, and lastly, I don't enter my daughter into anything she doesn't want to do. Thanks again for all of your help. *

Well I am jealous if we dressed like that this time of year we would be frozen and playing in the water is a little hard when it is solid.
Your dd is lovely unfortunately I wouldn't be able to narrow it down but I thought 11 was to dark.

This was certainly fun. And as a former photo lab tech, my picks are: 7, 18, 19, 21, 32, 38,45,48,52, & 56. I think they show her personality and wonderful smile in the best light.
