I just saw this on Simply Quilts and thought it was a great tip, to make an inexpensive flannel board use the back side of a vinyl tablecloth. It can be taped to a wall, spread on a work surface or rolled up to take with you to or from a class.

That's a great idea. I have seen those boards and thought they might be kind of handy but I don't really quilt at this time and didn't want to spend a bunch to get one but your suggestion is great. Thanks for sharing!!

Teri,

I bought a cloth for another use but never used it so, after seeing this tip, decided to try it. It works great. If you hold onto things, sooner or later you'll find a use for it. :bg:

Great idea. I've been wanting one but I don't have the space to put one up permanently. Thanks. I've been bummed out since HGTV Canada pulled Simply Quilts and Carol Duvall - I never watch HGTV anymore. All they have on is decorating and renovating - enough already!
Oooohhhh it feels good to vent once in awhile!

We lost some sewing programs also. I was quite upset so called the station that carried the programs. I was told it was because the sewing shows don't pay as well as other shows. I really don't know who pays who what but that was what I was told here. I like some decorateing shows but it's so silly to have so many on. Some are the same format just a different name. I want the sewing programs back on for sure. I also called Jamone & ask if they'd consider having a sewing program on TV. They said it wouldn't pay them to do so even though they'd love to. What a shame.
