I have this sneaking feeling that you post a url to a website outside of this one for people to see your work. Saves Mary's bandwidth. Many folk have their own photosites which they point to.

First you need to have a website photo album. Something like Yahoo has them or I use Photobucket. Then you have to register as a member, which is easy and free (or at least find a free one!). Then you upload your pictures from your computer onto your web photoalbum. Once you have done that, its easy to get a link into your post to your picture.

When you have finished uploading your picture into your photo album, there will be a url address under the picture. Right click on that and copy it. Then in your sew-whats-new post you will see at the top under the title, a toolbar that has the font, size, color then under that is another toolbar with format tools. See the one that has the world with the eyeglasses on it (beside the yellow envelope)?? When you click on that a little window comes up asking for the name of your link (you put in whatever you want to call it - like - Joe's Boxers. Then you click OK. Another window comes up asking for the URL address. Right click in it and paste the URL you copied from your picture (on your photoalbum website). Click ok! Then you can preview it before you post it to make sure it worked.

Does that make sense??? I always have two internet windows open when I do this, one for my Photobucket web page and one for Sew-Whats-New, then I can click back and forth between them, in case I mess up.

GM, I just went through this. Nothing worked for me until I went to User CP and entered it in Edit Signature. Also, it will show up with every post. Also, Pudge has a posted instructions on the mainboard "Take a break" on how to do this. I think the instructions you have been given are the same. BTW Webshots.com is a free photo site.
