I don't know how to sew the trim on a v-neck part of a shirt. I've got a pattern that explains how to do it but I don't fully understand the instructions.

My concern is that the neck will be really bulky with the fleece trim around the v-neck.

Any advice?

Trim your fabric edges in different lengths, so that the under layer is shorter than the top layer, then it lays flatter. I know that Pam will explain this much better than I can. I think its called graduated seams??

It's graded seams and it looks better if you leave the layer nearest the outside of the garment the longest.

There, see, Dorothy is a much better master of the English language than I am, exactly what she said, is what I meant! Thanks Dorothy!
