Hi, I am new to this forum but not new to sewing or embroidery. i have a pe 150 now but i just purchased a used PC 6500. can anyone tell me if 500 is a good price for a slightly used machine? i love my 150 but I needed a bigger feild for embroidery. I have Pe Design 4.0 and would also love to learn to digitize if I ever find the time to set or get to a class.

Hi figitts. Sorry, I don't have an answer for you but wanted to welcome you to SWN! I'm sure someone will be along before long with some information for you.

I had one and it's not too bad. Wind plenty of bobbins, though. I don't know how you feel about price, but the 6500/babylock Ellure were selling for $999 last I saw.
It does do a very nice job of embroidering although if you want Disney - there's only one disk for it.

Well i got the machine on tuesday. i was all excited about sewing with it. Got it all setup and nothing. the us mail beat the box to heck and the circuit board is damaged. Now this only had to make a one day trip to me. She mailed it on monday I got it tuesday afternoon. Now I wait til the us mail decides what to do about it. meanwhile i was using my 150 and it jammed and now I am without a machine at all!!!!! GRRRRRRRRR

I feel for you figittts, how sad to have two sick machines, especially when one is just brand new to you. Hope you get some satisfaction from the US snail mail people, ours can be so hard to deal with :bluesad: :bluesad: Keep us posted and welcome to the boards!
