How do I go about making a 'V' with bias tape? Like if I was trimming a bandana or something with corners? Also, how do I finish it off so it looks neat and tidy - not that that is going to happen anyway, but, I can dream!
My dogs need clothes!

I thought it'd be easier to refer you to this link. Hope it helps answers some of your quests.

On that web site they did it the way I would. Just cut it at the corner and start again going the other way.
Someone might have directions for mitering it but it seems like that would be tough with something so small.
