You all helped me with my terrible time with the scrub for my daughter.
I haven't been back since but I wanted to say it isn't because I didn't want to.
First we had the hurricane and my apt got plenty of damage that is waiting to be fixed. Next I got a virus and had to shut it all off and get help when I had time from techies at the puter place.

So between all that I haven't even thought about sewing, but have thought of you many times with all your help and kindness here.

I also wanted to add after finally cracking out a few scrubs for my daughter, she quit her job and went to work for the hospital where they wear the scrubs from the hospital. Aghhhhhh :bang:

Anyway I still haven't found a job and I am getting a little thin here financially so I am not buying any material lately. But I wanted you to know I just didn't hit and run even though that is sorta what happened. It wasn't intentional ladies I promis.
I hope to be back on track as soon as I get my car back (that was busted up too) and then find a part time job and or full and get back here.

Sp please forgive, I didn't get to know you well or long but I know you all made me feel welcome. Thank you All! Be back as soon as I can.

Dip in and out or a chat as often as you like Sandy,I don't sew that much either ( fabric expensive here and hard to get) but I can talk for England!
It is always nice to have old friends pop in for a visit.
How frustrating about the scrubs... :nervous:

Hi Oodles, I know what you're talking about with the scrubs! I did the same thing for my daughter - made 20 scrub tops and she quit her job and went to work for a doctor's office at the hospital and they all wear the same color scrubs. I could have killed her because most of them hadn't even been worn. Maybe she'll sell them or you can try to sell them.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger! Hang in there.

Morning,
I have to tell you that all your messages really cheered me up this morning.
I needed that.
Funny someone mentioned the pan handle. I was up there several months ago looking. Unfortunately I have arthritis in myhips and body that I can't do a stand up job. I sort of relied on doing that when I got older and oh what a big suprise I got.
I haven't got my car back yet but hopefully this week.

I want to sew so much but I know my concentration level is not there and everyone is talking about quilting. You know it would be the perfect time to try it but inside I know I couldn't enjoy right now.
Maybe after I get my car at least i can get out and answer some adds and things will work out I hope.
Thank you again and I will be back with good news I just know it.
Hugs to all
Sandy
