For some reason my original card won't read in the machine. I got all of the other problems taken care of and now this! The factory cards read fine...It's the original card only. When I turn on my machine, it "screams" at me...sort of a really high pitched whine and nothing comes up on the screen. HELP! I have to have these blankets done tonight!
If I can't be a good example, I'll just have to be horrible warning!

I don't use cards in my machines so I can't help, sorry. I do know that they can become erased if they are exposed to magnets. It might save you some time if you post the type of machine you have so that perhaps someone with that machine can help. Just a thought, is your card inserted all the way and in properly?

Oh Oh Oh I know the answer to that one!!! I had purchased a card off Ebay and it did that when I put it into the machine, turns out it must have been demagnetized somehow, somewhere. As far as I know - that's it- the card is kaput. Luckily I was able to return the card and got my money back. Sorry - wish I could give you better news. I do know now, from these great people, not to have any magnets around my machines, not only for the cards, but even for the computers in the machines.

I looked it up on the babypck site and they said the card "is indeed blank"...well, gee thanks. grump they never did say what would cause that... So anyway, I figured something had zapped them (I had 2 cards) and I have no idea what it was. No magnents around...go figure. So I guess I will have to get another flipping card. grump again. :bang:

If you have never used the card, it is possible that it was blank before you even received it.
