My daughter has a bunch of bottle caps that her aunt had given her to make something with. The problem is we have no ideas of what to do with them. If anyone has patterans or suggestions of what to do with them please reply. Thank You!!!

Punch holes in them and make them into a beaded door curtain?

One of my aunts used to make the neatest hot pads out of them. The kind you just set hot dishes on at the table. She covered each bottle cap ( the metal ones ) with a yo-yo & hand stitched them together in what ever shape she wanted. Some were round, square, a star or whatever . They were so neat & pretty. Make sure the bottom is covered or it would scratch a table.

Hi, funny you should ask because I got an email with ideas today for this. You use a hammer to flatten the cap, glue in their picture, and then glue a pin to the back to make a brooch.

Another idea from the same website was to make tamborines.
The website is www.familyfun.com; the link to the brooches is:
http://familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts/season/feature/famf117gift/famf117gift7.html

The site is somehow affiliated with Disney, and has some great family ideas, crafts, cooking and more.

Good luck with all of your bottle caps!
