Hi everyone- I'm new to this board and hope you can help me. I'm looking for a good source for bathing suit cups and/or lining. The stores in my area only sell the cups for clothing and they have to much foam. The bathing suit would be dripping for hours from the foam. (not a pretty sight). I know they make waterproof cups especially for swimwear but I can't seem to locate them. Any help would be appreciated. |

Hi NPTmom, Welcome to Sew Whats News. Do you live by any fabric stores? I know JoAnn's sell bathing suit cups, made out of a mesh type substance. Summer

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I do live near 2 fabric stores but they both carry the same one for bathing suits and it's the one that has a covered seam right across the middle up the cup. The problem is when the lycra is wet you can see the seam. I know there is one that's one piece and more of a rubbery material, but I can't remember where I saw it. |

I know that Sundrop Textiles in Port Coquitlam BC has quite an extensive selection in the store. Here's a link to their website. I didn't really take a long look at them when I was there, hopefully you can get some info from them, if this works for you. http://www.sundroptextiles.com/index.htm Laura
