Hi, my name is Amie. I have just started to sew. I made my first jumper dress and set of pajamas last week. I have now become addicted and have since made an additional dress, a pillowcase, a blanket, a tree skirt for my son's NASCAR themed Christmas tree and 6 sets of curtains. I had my husband hide the sewing machine from me on Sunday so I could get other things done around the house. I am a Reading Specialist at an elementary school and have a 3 year old little boy. I hope to learn from you all!!

Hi Amie, Welcome to Sew Whats New. Sounds like you have been very busy sewing all kind of goodies. Sometimes we need to pry ourselves away from the sewing machine to get other things done! Summer

Hi Amie! You definitely sound addicted!! You've certainly been busy and with a 3 year old as well - I'm amazed!! Did anyone warn you that this site is addicting too???? Now if I could only figure out a way to get the computer down into my sewing room without DH noticing - or - buy another one? Hmmm
