i am going to make a few simple dolls along the lines of these (http://www.nerfect.com/toy-box/toybox1.html) (more specifically, this one (http://www.nerfect.com/toy-box/toybox13.html) and this one (http://www.nerfect.com/toy-box/toybox13.html).). i just bought the poly filler. anyone have any doll sewing / doll pattern making tips? i know these are simple patterns, but i've never done anything like it before. any help is appreciated!

Hi Kelly,

New to the forum and just saw this. Not sure exactly what you need to know. The type of dolls I make are soft sculptured dolls. i.e they have sculpted faces, fingers, toes, breasts, etc. I do know that working with felt can be a tad frustrating if you are stuffing it tightly, as it has a tendency to stretch a bit and then tear. Let me know what you need help with, and perhaps I can give you some pointers.

Have a great day
