Can someone recommend a good "beginner's" sewing magazine for my daughter? She is just starting to learn to sew and we are giving her a machine and supplies for Christmas but I'd love to find a good magazine to subscribe her to.

Hi and welcome to Sew Whats New. :bluesmile

Sew News has a new magazine partner called Sew Simple. It is apparently for those who want to start sewing. It has directions to simple projects. If you can't find one on the magazine racks order from www.sewnshop.com
Sew Whats New is not affiliated. :bluewink:

There is a lot to be learned from the regular issues of Sew News and the more advanced Threads. Sewing Savvy has a lot of projects, some very basic ones. The magazines and other books are great idea generators if nothing else.
