I am wanting to get a reasonably priced digitizing program and am thinking about the Simplicity Effortless Embroidery Digitizing Software. Has anybody heard anything about this product... good or bad.

Thanks,

If digitizing were that effortless, there wouldn't be all the embroidery sites online. The cheaper the program, the worse the digitizing.
I don't know about 'Simplicity' digitizing. I DO know about Janome, Wilcom and Generations. Almost all embroidery machines have their own version of digitizers (HIGH end machines that is). If you don't have a high end machine, then pick a digitizer that's GOOD and does what you want.
Digitizing is a skill, not really something everyone can do well. The programs are only the tool to help you do it. You have to have the skill to make it WORK.

I don't know about that one in particular, but I know that PE Design is good. Lots of jumps if you auto-digitize, but nice quality designs if you just do it manually. Best of luck :)

I've been using Embird Digitizing Studio for 2 years now and I love it! It's very user friendly, but does not do any autodigitizing. I prefer to do it myself because I have more control over jumps and connecting stitches.

There's lots of tutorials for Embird available and the software has videos too.
