Is it any easier to buy a couple of patterns online and have them sent to my house? The prices seem cheaper to order than to go to the store and purchase. I still would go to the store to pick out material - I'm too new to know what something would feel like w/o touching it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!
- Maureen.

It depends on what patterns you are getting. If you are getting from the common pattern companies (Butterick, McCalls, Simplicity, Vogue), I would wait for them to be on sale at your local fabric store (JoAnn's, Hancocks, Hobby Lobby). If you are buying a specialty one, then it's probably easier to buy online. I tend to wait for the $1 and $1.99 saled at Joanns and Hobby Lobby to buy my patterns, and then I always end up buying way more than I will ever make, but that's the subject of another thread . Hope that helps. Ticia |
