We put on a Lily Festival each year in our community and are looking for a suitable quilt, wall hanging, etc. challenge for a show with prizes for next July. Does anyone have access to any info. |

are you talking about quilt guild challenge? or something for the townspeople to participate in? If it's for a guild, you can choose a fabric, like one those nativetexan mentioned, and give a piece (a fat eight maybe), and ask the members to make a quilt no bigger than ... and no smaller than ....adding 4-5 more of their own fabrics. Then the date of the festival, have the visitors vote for their favorite. in some challenges that i participated in, organized by shops, i had to buy the piece of fabric. in others, like in my guild, the fabric has been given to us for free. Another kind of challenge, is where you decide on a theme, size, etc, and participants choose their own fabrics. Adva Price
