Hey Sherilynn! Welcome to the group. Honestly I don't have an answer for you as I don't do much fabric shopping on line, but I know a lot of these people do, so you're sure to get some good responses.

I don't know a lot about knits but if Jersey will work for you here is a link to a wonderful place. http://www.fabric.com/apparel-fashion-fabric-just-arrived-fashion-fabric-novelty-jersey-knit-fabric.aspx I used to buy from them all the time when I didn't have fabric shops nearby.
