We just bought a home in La Grange, KY (just outside of Louisville--in neighboring Oldham County), and my 3 daughters and I are moving the 2nd week of January to join my dh who began his new job in Louisville a little over one month ago.
My dh is supporting my decision to purchase a new Janome 300e stand alone embroidery machine with a small portion of our equity from the sale of our home here in CA. I am looking for a reputable Janome dealer in the area.
And, of course, any fabric shop recommendations would be greatly appreciated too!

Thanks for any and all replies :bg:
Jen

PS: Boy am I glad we finally settled on KY. This past year has seen my dh sending applications to WV, VA, WI, FL, and KY. Of them all, I think we are best suited to KY.

Jen, If you don't mind driving about 100 miles, and you appreciate having a dealer that you know you can trust, one of the oldest and best is a small store in Owensboro, KY. You ask for Mort Murphy at the Murphy Sewing Machine Co., and tell him that I sent you.

Thank you.
My husband actually enjoys road trips. So once the memory of the two cross country drives from CA to KY begin to fade, I will hit him up for that little jont.

Thanks again,
Jen

Jen you will probably want to make a visit to Baer's in downtown Louisville. Let me see if I can find a website for them. Here's their web site Jen: www.baerfabrics.com

Thank you, Patsy, for the recommendation and including a link to their site
It looks like a great place to shop.

Thanks again,
