Here's some! I get more fulfillment out of the journey than new clothes and the other stuff I make. Have fun with your new machine, and come around often for inspiration and pointers.

Hi shelia,
Welcome to Sew Whats News. This is a great place for all kinds of encouragement, tips, and complaining, but only when your machine dies, or acts funny, or the pattern is a not very understanding. So join in the fun. Let us know what you want to work on and ask all the question you like. We have very smart people here.

It won't be long until you'll be sewing with the best of 'em. It is a wonderful way to be creative and have lovely clothing that fits! There is nothing more fun that watching your child go trick or treating or to church in something you've made "special" for them. Warm quilts, lovely curtains, the sky is the limit! So, just dig right in and join us!!!!

Hi Sheila. Welcome to SWN! You will find lots of encouragement here and lots of help too! be sure to read your manual thoroughly before you start so you can become familiar with your machine. Many of the dealers also offer sewing classes for beginners. If you need some help, just ask. There's always someone who has the answer!

Hi Sheila, Welcome to the group. I'm sure you will feel right at home here. We all had to start somewhere, and there are all levels of sewers here. Have fun!
