I would like to get a pattern for an oval rag rug. I have looked all over the net and only found one at www.about.com. It looks a bit complicated. I have been crocheting for years, but wanted to find an easier pattern. Could anyone help? PS I am new here so I will look at previous posts. |

I'm not a crocheter (is that how you spell it?) at all but I'd suggest looking in the Needlecraft forum on this site and see what those ladies can come up with. Did you look at freepatterns.com as well?

I will look at the other forum. And I will try freepatterns.com. Thank you for answering. |

There is a book to be ordered here. It has some rug patterns that are more like my grandmother's quilts than her rugs. There is a simple oval rug here that is closer to what she did. http://www.angelfire.com/il2/ruglady/index6.html pam

I think I shall just order the booklet. Quite a few of those rugs look quite nice. And I guess I can play with the Christmas material I purchased last month and did not use. Thank you for showing me that site. |
