Try a hardware store or boat store. Can always spray paint them.

Hi, thanks for the info. The 3 web pages didn't have them large enough for me. I need 1 1/2" grommets. I don't even know if it is worth getting the tools for that big a size. But I have lots of windows to do. Any other suggestions will be appreciate. Thanks Valerie

Large grommets are very pricey and the tools needed can also be steep. There is a grommet tape available that you just sew on and makes it very easy. You can get it HERE (http://www.homespunfabrics.com/grommets.htm) if you're interested.

Try a boat supply/parts company. Boat covers use the big grommets and I know they make repair kits. I've used grommets on several projects and I've found the tools that come with some grommet kits (the kind you use with a hammer) are awful. I finally bought a grommet tool and it's wonderful. So wonderful that I got a snap tool too. I think I ordered them from JoAnnes or maybe Plaid.

Hi, thanks for the info. By the time I buy everything it wasn't worth it. It cost more than the fabric. Thanks anyway. Valerie
