http://ca.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jeanettedionne/my_photos I hope this works, these are a couple of outfits I made my daughter from the Ottobre magazine. The pants are in a stretch corderoy that is great to move in! It's in the "sewing" folder. (like you couldn't guess that!) Jeanette

Oh, I like that. Is the black jacket corduroy too? It looks so plush and soft. Dorothy |

Hello! Those are lovely. That is the exact same Ottobre mag I own. I would like more, but haven't forked over the cash yet. I have made that dress and am going to make a few more (w/o contrast). What else have you made from that issue? see the mundane life of a housewife.

Thanks! Those were the only two I made from that magazine. The jacket is stretch corderoy too, good for kiddies on the move! I've also made the dress on the cover of the summer 05 and the outfit on page 12 as well as the boys jacket and a pair of pants from autumn 05. They are kinda pricey but so are patterns . I've cut out a woman's blouse from the summer one but have not sewn it as of yet Jeanette

Did you find the stretch cord had enough memory. I am wondering about baggy knees, etc. Timmel has stretch cord and I wanted to get some but I thought with me at my desk most days the knees might bag.

So far so good, it is not bagging at the knees and elbows yet, but she has only had it for a month or so. I got the fabric at Fabricville in Bedford before Christmas, they had tonnes then but who knows now.

Ok, time will tell. There is nothing harder on clothes than kids.

What cute outfits, and what a precious little girl! I really like the Ottobre patterns but like everyone else find them really pricey. And I really like the jacket and jeans also, are they Ottobre as well??

Ooops never looked back, yes the jeans and jacket are ottobre as well. The patterns are great, they just fit together so well, no playing and getting frustrated with seam lines.

The outfit looks really great! I know so many that sew for kiddos that like Ottobre. The sizing just doesn't work for us here though! Your daughter looks very happy!
