OK. Well I am thinking ahead to the day when the 7 bobbins that came with the machine are not enough. Where can I get bobbins for my darling Futura? I have this horrid habit for getting machines that do not use standard bobbins that can be bought at Joann or Hancock. I have not been able to find them online and the Singer dealer here is less than friendly so I would like to bypass them if I could.
Thanks!
Gina

The Futura takes a standard 15 class bobbin. You will find it will perform better with good quality bobbins rather than the generic ones at jo Anns or Walmart, etc. Since you don't care for your local Singer dealer I would recommend getting the Janomoe or Elna bobbins. They are thicker plastic like the genuine Singer.
Have fun or don't do it, Tom
