I'm wondering if there's any easy way to repair a the neck opening of a crew neck sweater when it's become loose and floppy. I'd thought about sewing some elastic on the backside of it? Does anyone have any suggestions ? Thanks

I have sewed elastic thread inside the ribbing of a lot of garments when it stretched out of shape over time.. It always worked well for me..I start and stop at a seam, so I have a good place to bury the knot in the thread for starting and stopping..

Thanks Libby ! I didn't know they made elastic thread, I'll try and find some. It sounds like that'll do the job !

Look on the notions wall.. Dritz puts it on a card.. the spool is about 1/2 in in diameter and 3 to 4 inches long.. spool is cardboard.. (like a minature toilet tissue roller)
