Hello
I am looking for a pattern for children's coveralls size 4 and 6. I would like something with a collar, snap or zipper front closure and elastic at the waist. I would like side pockets and a patch back pocket. I have looked in all the pattern books but have not had any luck.

Did you check out pyjama patterns? You might be able to find a basic patterns with the shape you need and then add your details. just a thought

Did you try Kwik Sew? There are some other pattern companies that don't ususally have books out, try www.sewingpatterns.com.

Hi-
It sounds like you're describing the jumpsuit in the Kwik Sew, Sewing for Toddlers book. Alas, it only goes up to size 4, but maybe you could enlarge it to a six.

Repeat of my post in the other thread, just in case it might be helpful to someone here.

In Jasmine Hubble's book Sew & Go Kids she has a pattern for a "pant robe with a hood". I use if for making coveralls for my boys.

I modified it to fit the application - added pockets from the other patterns in the book, added elastic in the back, left off the ribbing and hood and added cuffs and a collar etc. It is the best that I came up with and I already had it anyway.

The book has sizes from 2-8 included.
