Are overalls the same as coveralls??? I don't sew children's clothing but I googled and found these sites....maybe there is something that you could adapt for what you are looking for. Good luck http://www.embroideryetcetera.com/childrens-clothing-patterns.htm http://www.timmelfabrics.com/pitterpatterns.htm http://www.pavelkadesign.com/4_pants_overalls_skirt_children_sewing_patterns.ht ml http://www.commonsensepatterns.com/patterns_friends_coats.htm TTFN from

Overalls have a bib top and straps.. Coveralls are a complete garment with sleeves and everything..

I have a picture of me at about 2 years old in a corduroy on. Well, it looks like corduroy. Dorothy |

When I was 2 or 3 , I followed my Dad around all the time he was home, and I would get filthy when he was working on the car or in the yard, so my Mom bought me a pair from Sears.. they were the gray and blue tiny striped ones like railroad engineers and firemen wore back in those days on the trains.. I loved them to death.. Mom refused to take my picture in them.. I remember she and Dad fussing about that.. She hid the camera from Dad for a while..

Carsang2,when my grandson was really little I was looking for these as well and never did find any. I have thought since, that maybe I should have been looking for a jumpsuit pattern as I likely would have had more success. But now the question is " is there jumpsuit patterns out there that could stand a bit of modification''. Check out the kwik sew book for toddlers(?) or children. I kind of remember seeing a jumpsuit in there. I think it was black with flowers on it and a peter pan collar on a little girl but you could likely change it around. I wish I had thought of it years ago. Anyway check it out and see what you think. |

In Jasmine Hubble's book Sew & Go Kids she has a pattern for a "pant robe with a hood". I use if for making coveralls for my boys. I modified it to fit the application - added pockets from the other patterns in the book, added elastic in the back, left off the ribbing and hood and added cuffs and a collar etc. It is the best that I came up with and I already had it anyway. The book has sizes from 2-8 included. Melanie
