HMMMMMMMMM?? Let me think a minute. We have done every color of the rainbow, as far as I can remember. I have no problem starting with red for February . Here are some other ideas for either February or other months. How about candy, veggies or fruits, teddy bears, maybe a choose something you don't need month...Any ideas Karen and Lyn? Debby

I am game for white on white, blue on blue, pink on pink, marbles, anything that can be embroidered on. I am having a blast making fabric postcards and playing with my new embroidery machine.

This sounds neat. I'd love to join in (if that's ok ?)when it gets going! I don't have much of a stash so anything would be great. The background idea sounds good, but so do all the others. What about florals, leaves, I guess that would be nature? |

i had better explain for those that have no idea what we are talking about this of course is a fat q swap, in a nut shell it is decentralized, you send me your addy and then i send them (addy's) to you. and then you send fat q's to all on your list. a fat q ia approx 18 X 22 and of course 100% cotton is a must. let me now if i missed something oh and i always start a new thread for each fat swap so sign up is done on there, i will get that done in the day or two and we will have sign up starting a couple days as well |

I miss the squishies too! Sorry, Deb, I've been trying to catch up from being gone the last 2 weeks so haven't been on as often I'd like. Hmmmmmmm.........I like red for Feb-not necessarily Valentine but reds, let's see what else...........blues, I'm always up for Amish colors, wouldn't mind fossil ferns again, how about oh heck! Totally drawing a blank on what the fabric is called that I was thinking of-I can see it but can't remember the stupid name!!! Kind of a tie dyed look but all same color/marbled ... can anyone think of the name?? I also like most any color, horses, frogs, bugs, jungle prints, nature, outdoor stuff, novelty prints. Let's get moving...Feb. is almost here!! Lyn

Hi, I am a newbie to this site and am so excited after reading it, I have several embroidery machines, a serger and a couple of regular sewing machines and am loving the idea of embroidering and quilting combining. I made a baby quilt (trial and error) but it turned out really cute so I think a swap would be a great way to get colors to colordinate and be able to get start on another one. Please include me. |
