Is anybody else going to try the mystery jacket in the Sewing Savvy magazine? It looks like a lot of fun and it will use up all those scraps I can't seem to throw away. For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, the first step can be found in the January Issue of Sewing Savvy.

That is very cool, Gina. Can you keep us informed how you are doing. I'd like to do it with you but I don't have a lot of cotton scraps. I'm not a quilter, at least not yet. I made a bag once out of strips of cotton I put together like that jacket back. They were all batik -- or batiky looking I guess. It was beautiful with a wooden handle. Good luck. Dorothy |
