If you knew no fear, what things would you attempt to do?

I think I might try skydiving - but the thought of jumping out of a plane gives me the willies. I've abseiled 120 foot and the first step was nearly impossible - I just couldn't get me feet to move!

Talking at conferences I can manage - teaching a class is a bit more daunting but do-able. Being the first aider at an RTA is gut wrenching but I have done it. Learning to drive gave me the s**ts every lesson - I don't like driving at night as I can't see too well - probably better than the rest of the country but I don't feel confident.

Towing the caravan, definitely - worse than jumping out of a plane any day.
love and kisses, Jan

Paraglide off a mountain or big hill across open countryside. I'd love to know what that feels like - they do it off Winter Hill near us (Jan, you've may have seen it if you've been up to Preston - it has a transmitter on the top). It seems more gentle and a little slower than skydiving so I could appreciate the view more.

I'd love to be brave enough to scuba dive - there's some fantastic things to see, but water really does frighten the pants off me.

If I knew no fear I'd tell my last-but-three boss what I really think of him.

I might touch a bug...but I can't even LOOK at them in a ZOO behind glass. The uglier and bigger the worse the fear...my husband and I went to a Zoo once and there were hissing cockaroaches behind a glass and I didn't know they were there...my husband said I turned white, then purple and I ran.( I almost screamed, but I didn't have any breath left after turning all those colors  )

I might like to skin dive, but I'm afraid of the ocean. (for no reason....always been that way..can't even watch underwater movies/t.v.) w e i r d o....

I would try dating again. To me that is the most scariest thing I would have to do. I have done so much in my life as in sky diving, but I was married for 25 years then divorced, and I never really tried the dating scene cause it was to scary.

For me, it's a fantasy. It's a matter of having enough $$$ and being at the right place. I would just love to do that.

Conquering my fear ... I'd say bungie jumping or even riding in a rollercoaster. I've done the ones where you get turned around, upside down, forward then backward even on a full stomach but never a rollercoaster.

Come to Blackpool, we have a huge one there called the Pepsi Max Big One. The view from the top is fantastic - then you have to go for fish, chips and mushy peas afterwards!

Skydive, cliff dive and spelunking (cave diving). I've never scuba'ed and I'd love to. I don't really care if I did the skydiving, it doesn't really appeal to me, but the cliff dive and cave diving does. I'm a mermaid at heart!!!

I'd also love to do one of those huge movie stunts with all the crashed up cars where the car flips over and over and over and bursts into flames, then the guy falls out on fire and rolls in the dirt. That'd be my favorite!!

For hubby and I to just take off with out any money other than a few dollars in our pockets and cross the country just doing what we have to, to get by and see the country taking everyday as it comes. That's the way it felt in the days after the hurricane and I didn't panic so I think I'd love to see other places and mingle with the people and see how they live across the country or even in other countries if I make it in this one. I love people so I'd never meet a stranger. I'd have to teach my husband how to cope, he's a control freak, he has to know what tomorrow will bring before tomorrow gets here. LOL
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Now I 've done the scuba diving - it is wild scarey and serene all at once. But the Pepsi max is a no - I am the bag lady at the bottom taking photos of the wrong kid as they go past at 90mph.

Can I come? I'd love to do that. Could make it a girl's outing. I can picture tasting all these unknown culinary delights.

I have done sky-diving, it's such a rush. It made me feel if I could do that there wasn't anything in this world I couldn't do. I will admit the first few times were really scary for me, and everytime I go up I always wonder if this will be the time the my chute won't open , to if I will have to cut away to the secondary chute. Needless to say my family are not impressed so I don't tell them until after I get back now.
