Starting in March here in the states we're getting the new Dr. Who...on the Sci Fi channel...I'll let you know how my husband likes it. (He's a BIG fan). I always laughed at the old ones..the Daleks with their plungers, the goofy camera tricks....the messed up dialog...things you weren't supposed to see, like microphones, shadows of cameras, etc...it was a riot. I didn't really care for the Dr Who who kept a celery stick in his pocket...wasn't the right type of crazy. (sorry I can't remember their names...I wasn't really a fan...I just watched if it was on and I was in the room). Chrys

Ah, but do you mean the first new Dr.Who or the second one? I'll leave Jan to explain in her own inimitable style...... ![]() The celery stick was Peter Davidson, not my favourite either, I'm a Jon Pertwee fan (which shows my age ![]() |

Tom Baker - number 4 Peter Davison number 5 - I liked him If you are getting the new one then you will be getting Christopher Eccleston - number 9. He has the right brand of manic broodyness and ego! I liked 9! I could name them in order but then I am a total geek. I found Jon Pertwee annoying - that was the days of the terrible sets and rubber monsters - Dr Who has come of age a bit more - you'll like the bling Daleks! The secong new Dr Who is David Tennant - and they can't be getting him yet 'cos we don't get him till spring!(though we had a taster at Christmas) Enjoy! love and kisses, Jan
