I have an aunt with a terminal illness. She is now in a home hospice program and needs hospital gowns. (They were unable to "pilfer" any from her recent hospital stays...)

I offered to make her some but they do not have a gown to spare to use as a pattern and have been unable to find relevant info in a google search.

Does anyone have a pattern? If anyone has a gown on hand could give me some measurements and construction details... From what I recall on occassions I've had to wear one, they'd be quick and easy to make. Just need some measurements!

Thank you!

There is also a Butterick pattern. Depending upon the type of illness, this is a wonderful pattern and I like it because it opens in the front. I'm sure that it could be changed a bit and reversed if you needed it to open in the back.

We all love these boards and Mary should be very proud of her "baby". Thanks Mary, just in case you do not hear it often enough.
