Hi there,
I am still trying to get the hang of this neat site. I am cleaning out my fabric and have several yards of double knit. Would it be appropriate to put it on here? If anyone can use it, I would send to them if they would reimburse me for postage only. Please tell me if I am out of line in asking this. If you could tell me how we can connect better please let me know, too! Thanks a bunch!

What would you sew with double knit? I never have really understood the knit types. Do you still have the fabric and how much of it is there. Solid or print? Thanks

I have seen a lot of quilts made from double-knit although I have never made one. They are very heavy but warm. Also, one could make the usual slacks, blouses etc., I imagine. I have about 4 pounds. One bunch is about 2-3 yards and several smaller, maybe yard or so pieces plus some blocks that someone cut out to start a quilt. (I got all this by going to local auctions.) It is clean fabric and not smelly or moldy. I just do not want to store it any more. Hope this helps.
