hi everyone! i have a simple question, though it requires a LOT of thinking on my part, which i'm VERY lazy to do, so, i'll just throw it open to my fellow forum members... my school/college enforces a VERY STRICT dress code... i'm supposed to wear salwar kameez everyday... i'm tired of wearing the SAME boring designs and seeing other people in them too... lol... the present fashion is all about collars: mandarin, wing... any collar... but i'm tired of that now! can anybody suggest something new and DIFFERENT... like perhaps a layered kameez with net for the upper layer... or a different hemline... or perhaps some particular design meant for another type of garment that can be modified to suit a salwar set... anything will do... any advice would be useful! |

Do you have to wear long sleeves? http://www.homeindia.com/catalogue/fashion/salwar/ has some really attractive v neck sleeveless kameez. Can you change the scarf to something very light and floaty - there are some fab embroidered and beaded mterials around at the moment. Change the kameez to a much shorter one - on or above the knee? Thee really is only so much you can do with necklines... love and kisses, Jan
