This is a parents nightmare. I have been asked to post this. If anyone can offer any information, please do so. http://www.babyuniversity.com/kr/ MaryW

A girl went missing from our town the year we got here, 1995. She was seen leaving for school, was seen comming home via the Tom Thumb (like 7-11 etc) down at the end of our 'through' street. That was it. Nothing since. Her Mom and grandparents hold a vigil every year. The police did an excellent job (for a change), found her book bag and a sweatshirt. She'd be 25 now. It's scary how often things like this go on and people don't help ("my little boy/girl wouldn't do anything like that..."). Like the kid who killed his neighbor and hid her body UNDER his bed...and then slept in the bed... When I was a kid, I don't remember HEARING about kids just vanishing. (of course there were fewer kids, fewer places to go, fewer cars and fewer weirdos on the streets...) Let hope all the parents who have missing kids, find them..somehow. Chrys

I think that having a missing child would be way worse than knowing that they were dead. You would always be looking, waiting, wondering, hoping. My heart goes out to this family and all those who have kids that have gone missing.

This girl has been found. She is apparently not home but is known to be safe. A big relief for her parents. Thanks everyone.

Thank heavens she was found & is alive. My heart goes out to her parents & what they have been through. It's something that will stay with them forever. |
