:bang: Does anyone but me have a problem with fleece having wrinkle lines in it that just won't come out? I ask at the fabric stores, but the gals there look at me as if I just fell off the dumb truck:\ and insist that those lines always come out for them:( I've tried pre-washing in both warm and cold water, and both drying temps. It doesn't seem to matter. I've tried brushing the lines out, that helps some, but is a lot of work. I've tried my good old steamstress, it works better, but is very time consuming.

Price doesn't seem to matter, it's in remnants I've bought as well as yardage. Last night at JoAnn's I considered a piece with sequined butterflys, but even at $14.99 a yard they were all so wrinkled on the bolt that I changed my mind. If I can't find an easy method for removing the wrinkles, I'm done buying fleece. Am I truly the only one who sees these wrinkles?

That's strange! I haven't ever noticed a problem once I've washed my fleece. I don't normally dry it in the machine, I let it go in the dryer for about 5-10 minutes with fabric softener then take it out to air dry. And I've never noticed wrinkes.

Oh boy...maybe I really am the only one:(

The creases were there when I bought the fleece, I just assumed that they would wash out...they didn't:( They are not so noticeable in the prints, it's the solids that bother me. This is all anti-pill, I don't buy the other stuff.

Anyone else? Is it just me that the great fleece spirits are out to get? :bluesad:

I've had that happen once. It was fabric from Joanne's and I'm guessing the whole bolt had a problem, since I went back to buy more fabric (but not that particular one) and checked the bolt again. It was wrinkled on the bolt. No problems since then. Good luck!

No it is not only you. When the fabric store gets the bolts they can come with terrible wrinkles. Some of it is due to the board it is being wound on, some is that it ended up being wrinkled when it was wound and others is that when they have to rewinded the fleece back on the board it wrinkles. Most of the time it does wash out, others times it doesn't. I would take it back and ask for a refund. I know you washed it, but if you haven't cut any of it, you should be able to plead your case. Your not returning it for shirkange, your returning it for permanent wrinkles that will not come out. It is the manufactures fault for sloppy rolling on the board. If the store will not take it back go to the next step and call customer service. Get the store number and complain like the dickens, you will get a refund. Next time refuse to by the fleece with wrinkles.

Thank you all for taking the time to read and offer advise:) I have quite a stash of this stuff, so returning it is not an option. I have stopped buying it if it has wrinkles in it, but that is about all of it that I've seem lately:\ Guess that's a good thing...I'll save money and stop accumulating the stuff:)

I even went to the Malden Mills site and emailed them with the question. They didn't bother to answer me, which moved them way down on my list of respected favorites.
