I have a Singer Futura CE100. I was embroidering a name a long name & I got an error message with all the red lights blinking. I went to FAQ & they said to turn off computer & machine & reboot. Well I did that but I was on the very last letter & only want it to embroider that letter & not all 11. I can't do anything until I figure this out. I know there has to be a way...I HOPE!

Chances are you will never get that last letter to line up. I had something similar happen. I began stitching a design and didn't consider the time it would take. I had to leave, so I stopped it at the end of a color block shut everything down and restarted it when I got back home. The stuff it stiched after restarting was a good 1/4 inch off mark.
If you still want to try and stitch that last letter you could try this. I am assuming that the original name was all one color block. What you need to do is highlight the last letter and change its color. This will make it a separate color block. Then when you send it to your Futura just skip the block that has all the other letters and only send the last letter. I hope this makes sense.

It would have worked like a charm but you know it started blinking in the same exact spot again. What do you think that means? Any ideas? Now will I have to stitch over that quarter of the w again or can I tell it to move over a bit?

By the way its saying check lower thread or bobbin. Everything looks fine.

Is your bobbin thread low? Sometimes mine won't start stiching if the bobbin is to low. Is your bobbin in backwards?

You should be able to skip those stitches. That is what the top button on the machine does.

It has a lot on it still. It was in right. But I did notice I forgot to trim off the extra little piece after I threaded the bobbin. Hmmm....Maybe that did it?

Thank you so much Gina for your help. That must have been it! I carefully cut the thread out & started it again! YEAH! :bg:

No problem! That is why we are here. Someone here always has the answer or knows where to get it.
