I would like to find the following:
Creative Machine Embroidery Magazine (July/Aug 2005).
I found in through the Sew and Shop Website but they want $10.55 for it(cost +shipping). This is to high!
I would be willing to pay around $6 or $7 for the magazine.
What I want in it is the article "Embroidery Machine Comparison".
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Brenda

The article is quite good and an excellent place to start. As I read the article, I realized it was a bit narrow. For instance, it said that the 200E (Bernina) had only one memory slot. That is true. It is like a computer and has folders like your computer does. You can add new folders in the machine or add to the folders that are already in use. There were several little things like that I noticed about the 200 so I am sure that it is true of other machines listed too. It would be hard to take all the machines, put them on a graph and be detailed about all of them...just something to keep in mind. Overall though I thought the article was good with a wide array of machines tested. Of course, many of those machine have probably been replaced by another model by now, but it still gives you some idea of the direction of the companies. The 200 has not only been replaced, it has had a firmware update that allows memory stitck. Brother/Baby Lock has probably had many updates since then because they are always doing some sort of update.
