I found some pink flannel with hearts on it. It was on sale and of course some woman came in early today and bought alot of it. I wanted to get 2 yds but only could get .8 of a yard thinking there could be something I could make with it. Any suggestions? I am starting to buy fabric just to have it on hand but nothing to do with it!!

Maybe a small throw pillow for your bedroom would work...I'm tempted to say a table runner, but I'm not sure how flannel would look on a table. You might also be able to make a really small blanket throw for the top of your sofa/loveseat, trimmed in some nice red extra wide or quilt binding.

Just some thoughs... :bluewink:

You might be able to get a pair of boxer shorts for a lady/girl out of a piece that size. You could always add a cute t-shirt to make a pj outfit out of it!

could you make a wreath with it? Sew and stuff 3 long tubes, braid them and sew the ends to each other to form a circle. Hang inside of outside, and add a sprig of fake (or real) baby's breath or a red lily.

I have a Hello Kitty flannel print with pink hearts but not enough to make a full set of jammies. I have a small amount of the valentine pink heart flannel and will make pants. Maybe one way or the other the 2 prints will go together and I'll cut the nightgown down for a pajama top.
I've got a bunch of pink shirts that will go with the pants so she can go to daycare on Valentine's Day wearing them. But I'm baking brownies for daycare for that day......maybe my sweet little Marvin (dd) will stay clean for once.... :re:
