Hello fellow Nova Scotians
Did you get dug out yet? What a mess, I still have to shovel off the back deck and should do the roof but we have RAIN coming so I think I'll leave that little task to mother nature. Mary, Halifax looked like it go much more snow than here in the valley. How's goin' there eh? :bluewink:

In the mid-seventies, I lived in Québec City for 2 years. I became friends with a woman who moved there from Halifax. She didn't own a pair of winter boots...said that in Halifax they didn't get much snow so could make it through the winter without them. Well it didn't take her long to buy some in QC. I was from southern Que but had never seen the amount of snow that we got there those two years. By Feb. they were adding extensions on the Stop signs...I have pictures taken in April with one stop sign on top of another.

My friend moved back to Halifax the same year I left QC and I've lost touch with her. But I'll bet she's got winter boots now....

There is no snow on the ground here because it rained enough to melt what little was there from last week.
It has been acting like spring since November and I've no complaints!!
This I could handle.
Of course we could still get two feet over night some night -- any night until May!
