Okay, this is my cheater way to see how everyone's doing. I'm taking a few minutes while I made the boys take an early nap to see what all is up with people. I have two crawling maniacs and Drake is definetely shaping up to be the dominant boy (serves us right for naming him something that means dragon). My in-laws are coming in for the weekend, so I'm sure everything's going to be crazy.
Because I know you are all dying to see pictures (not really, but I wanted to share them). Here's pictures of how they're doing, they're huge now. I can't believe they're almost one. the life of Drake and Peter told in 10 photos (http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/pucktricks6802/album?.dir=de78&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/pucktricks6802/my_photos)

Wow, that's a long chain of info when you look at it in the non-viewable version.... and yes rereading that sentence it makes no sense.

Grief theu have grown fast! Why is Drake in the laundry basket?...

We have half term here soon and Daughter no 1 and fiancee are coming home for a flying visit to a) get sized for rings to be made(9 carat gold celtic interwovan bands)b)buy grooms out fit with grooms Dad and c) pin up and hem brides dress now that we have some shoes to try. My machine is making nasty crunching noises so I think it is time to go in for a service - rather like my car - bill ,bill,bills...

I am kniting ( slowly as elbows ache) a fully sized model of the human digestive tract. I have finished the rectum, colon, appendix and am halfway up the small intestine - 11 feet still to go...then I'm onto the stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas.....it is a source of much amusement in the staff room at lunchtimes as I sit knitting like Madame Dufarge with my pile of entrails by my feet. History teacher has asked if I can knock him up a replica of the Bayeaux Tapestry....I've got the bladder and kidneys to go yet!
love and kisses, Jan

Drake's in the laundry basket because it amused me (what a sad and twisted Mom I am, but if you can't get amusement from your kids, who are you supposed to get it from?

Jan, when's the wedding? I bet you are so excited (I know my Mom was, in her mind she was thus one step closer to getting grandkids).

Those boys are growing way to fast.
I have been trying to at least make a dent in my stash with the contest. Something keeps getting in the way of my sewing time. I am hoping to sew up complete summer wardrobes for my youngest two before the contest is over. I have a house full of people with the "Mississippi Crud". What's that you ask? It is when your lungs are full of sludge like the stuff they dredge up off the bottom of the Mississippi river. If I could I would quarantine my house(so it wouldn't spread) and shoot the fool who gave it to us. I was out flat for two solid days and spent the following week where I had about an hour's worth of energy per day. Feeling better now but far from back to normal.
So that is what I have been up to. Aren't you glad you asked?

I have such a mess in my sewing room right now. I pulled out the quilt tops that need to be finished and in the process found a stain on the backing of the one I made for dh. I took it apart and washed it and it didn't come out. So now to find another backing material and try to get them quilted. I don't like to quilt so they're just sitting in there staring at me.
I bought material today to start on the summer things for DGD. I need to get busy and it's cold today and raining. I can't seem to get the energy to get with it.
I loved the pics of the babies. Brings back memories. I had faternal twins 32 years ago! Wow I'm old! Anyway it's a fun time and you should amuse yourself with them. Life's short!!!

Finished a baby quilt and pillow and got in the mail before the baby is born. Proud of myself. Than ny niece called to thank me and said the doctor said she probably will deliver this week end. Lately, I am having a hard time getting things done on time.

I'm here instead of folding my mountain of laundry downstairs. Dh is away again and I finally have all the kids asleep so I'm being mellow. But... DH has booked us a cruise  for the last week of march. So I'm agonizing over formal wear of all things :re: but this too shall pass.
Amazing how a year will pass so quickly, my youngest just figured out how to walk this week. (wait for that ticia :bg: ack x2 get your runners on!)

I am trying to go through papers and other stuff, so soon to be ex hubby can take it with him. And in the last month, I have finished 3 of the 26 crewel kits I bought off Ebay, made 2 fleece outfits of my god daughter, and am slowly getting the pile of laterations I need for my self done. I feel pretty good.

Yeah... it'll be exciting when they're both walking. It's kind of scary Peter just started crawling, but he's been seeing Drake pull up for a couple of weeks now, so in the second week of crawling he's pulling up, and it took Drake at least 3 weeks of serious crawling before he did that. I think Peter is watching what Drake does and is taking notes and thinking, "okay, when Drake does that he gets in trouble, oh but he can pull that out and it's okay, and look how he moves around and crawls over that....." hmmmmm.......
My In-laws just visited for the weekend, which is always fun (and it's one of the few times that Jeff actually gets projects done because his Dad loves to do things like that). It's amazing how much more often (and that sound like bad grammar in my head) they come down and visit now....... I wonder if there's a reason?...... Maybe........ :nervous:
