Just wanted you to know that I will be "assuming the position" (you know Official Happy it's Snowing Person!!)as we are suppose to be getting hit with MAJOR SNOW starting Saturday and Sunday and into Monday!!!!!!! Should make for a "fun" Super Bowl!!!! Sure hope "THOSE STEELERS FANS" don't get lost on the OHIO TURNPIKE , here in BROWNS COUNTRY!!!!!! You know they say that the fastest way to Detroit is through OHIO, if you are not flying. Though we do have our far share of "Airhead" Steeler Fans here in this part of the state. :nervous:

Well living in the state that the Super Bowl will be in, I find it quite funny that we have had such a mild winter, then the weekend of the Super Bowl we get a winter storm watch. I can see the news now, that Detroit can't keep up with the snow, if the weather people are right for once. Oh well I shall be up north quilt shop hopping with some friends. Snow can't stop us diehards.
Go Seahawks!!!!!

Oh that's okay, if the snow gets to bad in Detroit they can ALWAYS put a bunch of Big Mouth Steelers Fans on the front of the Plows. That will be ENOUGH HOT AIR to melt all the predicted snow and then some!!!!!!!!!!

Lets see, "What do I call 54 guys sitting on the sidelines".
I'd call them 54 guys from Pittsburgh at won't be going to Disney World after they LOOSE the SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!

I JUST CRACK MYSELF UP!!!! THAT ONE WAS SOOOOOO FUNNY

Summer,I love your Avatar, where did you find it at?

Okay, first it rained for 3 hours, changed to snow. Accumulated about 1" or so, then the temperature went up to 40 and melted it all. Was really slippery during rush hour, so I didn't go to the grocery store as planned, since there were traffic accidents everywhere. My DD went to school planning on building a snowman when she got home. Suggested she build a "mud" one instead...hee, hee, hee!

The weather gets stranger & stranger lately.

As for SuperBowl Sunday, we are finally having my DD's birthday party with the family. So I'm 6 weeks late and my family is used to me doing stuff like this. I did it early in the day so they could all go HOME and watch the game and we can relax for the evening. Since I use my dining room for sewing, had to put it all away. Now I can pull it all out again and begin my DS's crazy quilt.

Had to chuckle today, they had a story on the local Cleveland News about all the Ohio State Highway Patrol Officers who VOLUNTEERED to work the Turnpike shifts today.
Like I said, the most direct route to Detroit from Pittsbugh driving is the Ohio Turnpike :bg: And you know they will go as fast at they can to get in and out of Browns Country!!!!! :monkey:

It's 7:30 now and the snow that they have been calling for since Thursday is just now starting to fall. :whacky:
