I like the film GONE WITH THE WIND very much, as well as Malanie's white gown. I was shocked when she appeared in the white gown in the step corner help Scarlet killing the soldier. it is a long loose gown with wide lace, very beautiful and looks like an angel.
I do want a gown like that, does anyone know how to make it? many tks in advance!

It has been a long time since I have seen the movie so I don't remember the gown specifically. However, it should have been a cotton sleeping gown of the period. Here are a few spots to look for period clothing.

DEAR PAROPER,
HI, good news that GONE WITH THE WIND will be on tv this weekend. i have chosen one pattern on the website u gave me. unfortunately my kind-hearted maintenance led to the broken down of the sewing machine. i was trying to oil the machine. but after i loosed the screw on the top, i didn't know how to replace them! hope it will be repaired by the worker tomorrow morning

That sounds like something that a good machine tech can take care of quickly. I've always been afraid to do much more than oil around the hook of the machine. You are brave to have tried.
