I'm doing everything but what I should. I've got to get to work and write a story for the paper but I keep wandering around the internet.
I did buy some music to listen to when I do get started.

Know what you mean about not getting moving. I still don't have any energy after surgery..haven't made it a day without pain meds yet and it has been a week. I have cabin fever so bad I can't see straight, but can't drive as long as I am on the meds. My husband gets home about 2:30...if he doesn't take me someplace I may go nuts! I try to go do some sewing, but after I start on something, one of the machines goes batty, then I get upset because I isn't working right (of course it can't be the operator...I have had them forever and know how to thread and all that good stuff.) Then after about 20 minutes or so, I get light headed, so go back and sit in the recliner, then go back to the computer. I am so tired of TV and the computer I am about to flip out!

I send grandson off to school, then took the dog to the vet. He is being neutered today. Then came home, tidied up the house, had lunch and sent out three newsletters. Now I have to work on next project for an hour, then start supper.

Come on girls, move. Being sick is no fun, Sue, you will feel better soon. However, the rest of you know better. Now get to it! :bg:

I had to rise and shine earlier than usual to get the car in for some repair. Took some crochet with me and surely glad I did (3 hours). Need to do some house work but sewing sounds like much more fun. I am working on a denim quilt for my oldest son....embroidering designs which depict areas in his life. Just finished two burp cloths, embroidered design with two inch borders on each end of pre-folded diapers and two flannel blankets. They were fun. I may need to take a nap before getting started on something.

Got up. Burned the toast. Did the school run. Went to work. Spent the day wrestling with government policy. Drove home. Went to sleep. Ate dinner. Now trying to fight going to sleep because I'll be up at 4 am if I go to bed now. Nothing on telly so I'm going to have a soak in the bath with Inspector Morse.

Got up early for some of my daycare kids earlier arrival; found out at 6:30 they weren't coming. Read the paper (yesterday & today); made my DD's lunch for school; hopped on "puter" to get Bingo words for today; read email; hustled all kids to bus stop; played Gamecube with DS; grocery shopping; more Gamecube; back to bus stop to pick up Kindergarten kids; made lunch; cleaned up lunch; research on Internet for recycling program for DD's school; more phone calls; rode exercise bike for 25 mins.; got snack ready for kids; transferrred laundry to basket & dryer; back on "puter" for 10 mins; up to bus stop for more kids. Need to leave at 4:00 for church class; then to pick up stuff from DD's school; then home to make dinner; then bath night, DD's homework then maybe more "puter" time.

Need to give up Gamecube time for some sewing...... I've become addicted. No wonder we never had a game system before!

Finished up 4 more of my Valentines postcards this AM, then took care of mom, wash and set her hair, which takes a couple of hours. Got off to the post office around 3 pm and it was so crowded. Time to start thinking about dinner, but I sure don't feel like cooking. Had plans to get more sewing done this morning and afternoon, but it didn't happen. Maybe tonight for a little bit before bed.

Wow Peggy I'm tired just reading your post. I haven't done anything all day except picked up the crochet and am making a mesh bag. I don't know why, it's just what was on the back of the wrapper! I need to get something ready for supper but don't want to do that either. I hope this funk is over tomorrow! It's very tiring doing nothing all day!!

Debsews, everyone needs a "down" day. Sometimes we cram so much into our days, that we forget to take a timeout. Give yourself a break and know that tomorrow whatever didn't get done today, can be done tomorrow.

Last Thursday my DS (4yo) and I played gamecube for 3 hours straight. I got nothing done, but he got some much needed mommy & me time. I felt guilty all day about a wasteful morning because I had so much to do. But he & I really enjoyed it -- hence the reason I've become a Gamecube addict. And we've been playing Piglet's Big Game! I'm determined to beat the baddies for him :dave:

I finished my story, but didn't much like the results. Oh well -- sometimes they are good and every once in a while it's a dog, right.
Hubby brought home chicken wings and macaroni salad for dinner.
Sweet guy.

My day went like this. I got up finally around 9:00am. Washed clothes until 4PM, pulled together tax papers and reciepts for tax man while clothes were doing their thing in the machine. Checked email on and off. Mail lady came with package from Chrys. Oh boy I got a surprise. She send me some of her stash with the thread. Nice Nice Nice and the thread was very nice also. I love the twist thread and she had some spools of that also. Thank you Chrys. Then I checked on hotel for sewing conference in April and for machine briefing instuctions (3 days) next month. Then started thinking about supper. Fixed supper between folding clothes. DS bought over around 6 loads plus I had my 2 to do. Then here I am surfing the net. Between all this I cleaned my house. It was a slow day for me. I stayed home all day which is really rare. I stayed in my jammies until around 2:00PM. Got my shower then and back in jammies around 7:00AM Good day for me.

Well, I did accomplish something today..made it all day without pain meds! Now I know that things will start getting better. Hubbie took me out to eat, so I got out. Now that I am off the pain meds, I can drive! Hooray, things are looking up!

Good going Sue. Sounds like you're on your way to healing. I hate taking those pain meds, they make you feel so sluggish. Good to hear you are doing good enough to go out and enjoy a meal with hubby.

I got up this morning and from 9 until 3:30 worked on resetting up all the programs after doing a new install of WinXP. Then off to work and it was a totally insane night - I would think it was a full moon with how busy we've been (hospital - what more can I say). My bed looks incredibly inviting.

I lost almost all of last week to the pain meds. I guess I would have lost the week to pain without them. But I was so glad to get off them.
Today I go to the doctor. Then I am going to try to cram 4 days work into 3 days. Hmmm... doesn't sound so bad written like that. Except it is really only 2 and 1/2 days to do it and it could be 5 or 6 days work.
But if I do it I can meet my daughter and my husband's sisters family in Albany for a couple days without guilt.
My in-laws live there and my daughter has to go there to visit a client of her new law firm.
So you likely won't see a lot of me here. Or maybe you will because work or no work procrastination is always an important part of the day.

Well yesterday was pretty much a bust! Tried to make a crocheted mesh bag and got the bottom done. The mesh keep slanting farther to the left with every round and so I ripped it all out. Made a dishcloth instead. No brain work to that!
Today I have to be more productive. Garage sale in 3 weeks and I have one little tub of stuff cleaned out. I love reading about everyone's day! There's a feature on another forum (now shut down) that is Good Morning, everyone writes about what they're doing that day. Fun!

Susie, funny thing I never noticed what I felt like on a new moon, but this past few days I've felt kind of crappy, I'll have to watch again next month and see what gives. As far as the hospital goes, a full moon, seems to bring out the strange wild and wonderful stuff!! I've now spent three full days working on the :pc: and my eyes feel  plus I'm  cause it took me all day to figure out how to share the email program. I finally got it 5 minutes before I had to leave for work, so I get to get up in the morning :coffee: and do the rest of it.

Laura the moon isn't full until the weekend and it's the new moon now either but watch for the new moon it causes all kinds of things to happen also. It's called the dark of the moon I believe. No wonder it's creepy too.
