Does anyone have a supplier they use that is online that they order magnetic snaps from for purse making? I found one place, but they ended up ripping me off and since then I have been ordering off ebay.

In the past month I bought a package of 2 at a Micheals store.

2 Cdn sites are Sundrop Textiles in Port Moody, BC and Textile Outfitters in Calgary AB, they have a terrific online catalogue. I've seen them in the store at Sundrop, and I'm pretty sure they are in the catalogue at Textile Outfitters. Oh, also try A Great Notion, in Surrey BC, they should carry them, they also have an online catalogue. I realize these are CDN, but the prices should be pretty good.

Would you beleive me if I told you I didn't find any on all 3 of those sights? I don't beleive Micheal's sales online, but it is way to exspensive to buy in single or double packs. Right now I get them for about $1.00 a piece off of ebay. Thanks for the help ladies

Well I bought them off of ebay again, but found a sale for about .50 a piece, about 1/2 of what I was paying and good reviews.

Yes, I have ordered from them in the past. I had a bad experience. I requested them to ship priority and they shipped express instead. So it was more for shipping then the snaps. They charged me over $30 in shipping. They did reimburse me 15, but still cost way to much.

Try also, www.sunbeltfasteners.com, ghees.com, denverfabrics.com, and persnicketypatterns.com. They all have the snaps at varying prices. sunbelt is the cheapest, I think, but I've never ordered from them. My friend found them at a trade show and really like the people. She's ordering in bulk because she owns a knitting store and is developing purses also.
