I started drinking hot teas when I started my diet 3 1/2 weeks ago. I think I'm addicted now. :bluewink: A cup after each meal makes me feel like I'm getting dessert.
My favorites are Celestial Seasonings Chocolate Caramel Enchantment Chai tea and Lipton's Orange Passionfruit Jasmine green tea.

Anyone have any favorite brands or flavors I'm missing out on?

I am very fond of Earl Grey or Lapsang Suchong - the charcoal burners delight! There is a really nice grapefruit tea by twinnings - it was about all I drank when I gave up tea and coffee.

I need to check out that Chocolate caramel tea. Sounds wonderful.. I drink Lipton Orange and Spice for breakfast every morning. I don't usually try anything else. I may have to branch out!

Give me just plain tea or just plain coffee. None of the fancy stuff. I like Earl Grey tea. Strong. Nothing in it. I do like half and half in my coffee but black is good too.

I have been drinking special teas since 1985; I've tried most of the flavors from Celestial Seasonings but switched to Health and Heather's cammomile. About five years ago I received a large packet of loose special green tea and have used that consistently ever since ; it has recently finished and I now have Biglow green tea most days. I occasionally use regular Earl Grey or Liptons, which I've never stopped loving:however too much of those tend to make my heart skip a beat . Since drinking the green tea constantly, I have lost some twelve pounds; I think perhaps that the tea caused it. I am glad about that. :bg:

It's been about 3 years that I have stopped drinking the regular black tea and only drink it when I am at someone else's house. At home I drink Tetley's green tea - sometimes even their decaffinated green tea. But at work I like to have Cranberry tea - either Celestial Seasonings or Tetley. I used to drink Raspberry tea and it's OK but I now prefer the Cranberry.

If I am craving something sweet I will make up a cup of the chai tea. I am more of a coffee drinker than tea, but at night I have been drinking the sleeptime tea. It say it is to calm you, but so far I do not feel any calmer.

One of the men I used to work with on graveyards would make me a cup of traditional East Indian chai tea every night. It was wonderful. I'm a coffee or tea person, not much for the flavored teas, except BlackCurrant. I do like Earl Grey now and then, and Chai. I find I can't drink Chamomille before bed cause I'm up two or three times to.....get rid of some of the liquid if you know what I mean!

I usually try to stay away from caffeine, but I've found love in Mighty Leaf Tea (http://www.mightyleaf.com/) brand's "Orange Dulce." It's a black tea with the tastes of orange and vanilla and jasmine all swirled together. It's expensive, but so nice. This audience will appreciate this: You can get loose tea from them, but this one in particular is in tea bags made of silk organza, with a serged closure. The serger tail is what the little tab is attached to for dunking. It makes me feel very special when I have it as a treat!
