Here is a quilt tip from me for everyone on Valentines Day.

Wrap tape around the fingers you use underneath the quilt. The tape protects your hands but isn't bulky and you can still feel the needle.

Mary:

What type of tape do you use? My poor fingers stay so sore that I can hardly stand it sometimes.

Some use masking tape, some use electrical tape. Some use plain old Scotch tape. The plumbing tape is soft and adheres nicely to skin. Hubby is a plumber so...............try a few and see which one you like best. You will find a real variety in hardware stores.
