Thought this was interesting. For you who like to walk, you can see how many miles you walk on your path. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/ Just for fun I did the route I walked at my house and I was up to almost 10 miles. I miss those walks, got a lot of good thinking done on them. Summer

Great site Summer...I just figured out that my lunchtime walking route is 2.5 miles....Was never sure exactly how far I walked before. Due to the ice and snow and the fact that most of the pathways are not kept clear...I walk a different route in summer and winter. Now I will be able to calculate the distance no matter what route I take. Thanks for posting that site.

One of the girls I work with bought one of these gadgets and wore it to work. I was amazed at the distance she had walked in just a couple of hours. She thought it was off (reading too many) but I was pretty sure once I thought about it that it was correct. We work in an Army Emergency Room and although it's not a trauma center by now means, we see around 100 patients/day. Seeing her distance walked in such a short time made me know for sure why my feet are hurting when I get off work!
