BATIKS is the theme for this month, you must e-mail me your address to <email address removed for privacy> if i do not have it already, and if the e-mail is different from where you are sending make sure i get that too, as i will be using that e-mail to do the forwarding.

this is decentralized, so i will be sending you the names and you will be sending fat q's in 100% cotton that are approx. 18 X 22 to all those on the list.

i will be sending the list out to all involved by the 2nd of March with mailing date no later than the last week of the month

e-mail me if you have any questions at <email address removed for privacy>

Count me in Carman for the batik swap. I think you have my info, and I told Pat S I would be happy to forward the lists and such if she can't get the email glitch fixed. Looking forward to this one. Does anyone have a favorite site to order the Batiks? I am looking at a few.

Debbie...you may want to check my favorite store for your batiks..that would be ebay.com!!! They have a LOT of them. I personally do not like them but they sure are popular.
I am fairly new here so would someone please explain to me what "swaps" are and how they work? Thanks!
If I had known that grandchildren were so much fun, I would have had them first!!

Good Morning! Going to the mailbox the last few days has been a delight. I have received beautiful fabric from Lyn, Debby, Krystal, and Patricia. Thanks so much, they will look beautiful in my growing batik collection. I find it very hard to "cut" my batiks. :bluesmile

I have in my possession some samples of batik fabrics from Bali. Each sample contains at least 5 color coordinated samples. Would you like to have one of these color-coordinated sets or would you like to have the fat-quarter of batik. Please let me know with a private message and I will get your choice out to you this week...

Every one have a great day.

Hey Krystal, have you seen my FQ floating around? I'm trying to keep track so I can replace for anyone who didn't receive it and I didn't find a posting-just a little concerned, if it made it to PA already, you'd think it would be in MI by now. Let me know, I'll be happy to replace it for you if need be!

I have received beautiful batiks to add to my collection from all of you, thanks so much for variety. Now if I could just bring myself to cut them.
I am sorry mine didn't get in the mail until today but my Mom has been in and out of the hospital the past few weeks and it has been super hectic around here. She lives 35 miles from me. I have been to Pittsboro NC several times I used to live in Asheboro...and been to and through La Grange lots of times going to visit a son in Hampton. Great areas, beautiful countryside.

Hope everyone has a great day, watch the mailboxes, they are on the way....

I am not sure what I will do with my batiks either. They are not the usual fabric type I buy. I would love to know what others may have in mind for a project with them?
Have a Good Day!

of my Batik FQs for March. This has been a great experience and treat for me!

Thank you Becka for the unusually beautiful fish print batik. I will have to find a special project for this piece!

Thank you Carman for the vividly beautiful green batik.
Have a Good Day!
Brenda
