My 9 yo dd wanted a purse/lunch sack that wasn't girly. She is a huge tomboy, and a big west coast choppers fan--thus the Maltese Cross.
This is what we came up with:

Oh, and I made the purse from reconstructed jeans I purchased at the thrift store, using my embroidery machine and free designs from the internet to adorn the pockets.

My daughter came home and squealed--she loved it!!! She ran in with it this morning, threw it on the counter, and said, lunch please! lol!
Wanting to use it---The best compliment a mom can get :bluewink:
