My mother has Monogram Wizard Plus--she also, of course, has the fonts available on her machine--but she wants more fonts to be able to choose from--
I have been looking online forever for a disc/cartridge that has lots of different font designs to choose from--everything on ebay is just 1 type of font for each disc--cannot seem to find anything that has bunches of fonts contained on one disc--
Does anyone know of anything else or somewhere I can look to find such a disc/cartridge?---her machine takes PES format--she does lots of monogramming and wants to have more to choose from but I dont want to buy one disc with just one font on it--

thanks,
Amy

I can't tell you too much about the fonts. You can purchase individual fonts. However, if, in the future she wants to have a lot of fonts available at any given time, the easiest way is to purchase a software that will "pick up" the fonts in your computer. My software (it is expensive) will automatically "adopt" any font that I put into my computer. The thing is that it is not the only one out there that will do that. I think there is software that will do that in many price ranges. Another thing you might look at is Embird. They have something called a font engine. I don't know if it does this or not, but it might? I know that it has a couple of font options.

I really like Monogram Wizard Plus. The fonts are lovely but the use can be limited, but I don't use those for everything. I understand her wanting to have more.

thanks Pam--
Yeah, you'd think that she would be satisfied with the ones on the Wizard Plus and whats on her machine!--Its always more, more, more with just about any hobby!--I'll look up the things that you mentioned and see what I can find--

this stuff sure can get expensive!--People that have these things made for them do not realize how much stuff is--the software, the thread and the items made to put those monos on--$$

thanks again,

Amy

I know. People seem to take it for granted that it doesn't cost you anything whether it be sewing, alterations or embroidery projects. Funny how they wouldn't think of asking a professional to do it for free.

Amy, Which machine does she have? Tru-font programs(programs that will let you use your computer fonts) like the one Pam mentioned are available for some machines. Some of them are not that expensive.
Have fun or don't do it, Tom

I have a Janome MC9700 and would like info..I would like to make my letters smaller...I have Customizer and the smallest size is still huge when stitched out. Digitizer is so expensive and I a can't afford to add it to my collection just yet.
